KCL-IMT STUDENTS VISITED RCF, KAPURTHALA

snap-5KCL-IMT in its endeavour to strengthen the academic learning of their students periodically organizes Industrial Visit to various organizations of repute, in order to provide an opportunity to their students to learn about more an organization’s systems and processes. Continuing this endeavour further, KCL-IMT recently organized an industrial visit to RCF, Kapurthala (RCF) on 24th September’ 2016 for the students of MBA first semester. Seventy Nine (79) students of MBA first semester went on this visit along with four faculty members. During this visit the students got the opportunity to view the manufacturing of Railway Coaches. RCF official explained the functioning of various manufacturing processes being used in RCF. The students through their interaction with the RCF officials learned different techniques used in designing, developing and manufacturing of Railway Coaches. The visit proved beneficial to all the students of KCL-IMT in the sense of learning management & technical procedures that are functional in the Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala. The faculty members who accompanied the students during their Industrial Visit were Mr. Sonu Dua, Mr. Tarunjit Singh, Ms. Sarika Arora and Ms. Jaskamal. The conduct of the Industrial Visit to Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala was coordinated by Mr. Parveen Singh Kalsi.
